Pivotal Moments: Growing a Design Company

Event Description

The American Institute of Architects Shanghai Chapter is pleased to launch our Emerging Leaders in Global Practice program with a panel discussion from three influential members of the Shanghai design community as they share their story of establishing a design company.   

Each of our panelists have founded award winning design companies in Shanghai and grown them from start-up stage to thriving offices.  We will hear from companies that built their offices on three different foundations:  architecture, interior architecture and creative branding installations.  They will tell the story of starting a design company and each discuss pivotal projects that have changed their office. 

We will be joined by Wang Fang from Logon, Justin Bridgland from MDO and Siu Tang from The Orangeblowfish. A presentation from each panelist will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by Jason Holland. Q&A will follow.

The Emerging Professionals program will be an on-going series of events that aims to connect the next generation of architects and designers.  Please join to find our more about what is in store.  All levels welcome to encourage a diverse perspective and engaging dialogue.
