Description

Buildings are the largest source of carbon emissions globally, accounting for approximately 40% of total emissions. Combined with the embodied carbon of building interiors, systems and associated infrastructure, the percentage is substantially higher. Carbon reduction is therefore a topic that is front and center for architects to tackle. AIA is leading the discussion on carbon reduction and has launched the AIA 2030 Commitment - an actionable climate strategy that gives us a set of standards - and goals - for reaching net zero emissions in the built environment, now within less than eight years.

Please join this webinar with Edward Mazria, FAIA, 2021 AIA Gold Medalist and Founder of Architecture 2030 for a riveting presentation on keeping the Paris Agreement alive and the transformation underway in our built environment.
