Abigail Pilgrim is the Founder, Principal, and Registered Architect of APA DesignStudio Inc., an architecture, planning, and interior design practice established in Barbados in 2009.  With more than 25 years of experience delivering projects across the Caribbean and the United States, she specialises in sustainable architecture, master planning, interior architecture, and project management. 

Her portfolio spans major public-sector educational facilities, commercial and residential developments, heritage conservation initiatives, and high-end interior environments. Abigail has led the design and delivery of large-scale institutional projects, contributed to the documentation and preservation of UNESCO World Heritage assets, and contributed to the development of the Barbados National Standards Guidelines for acceptable indoor air quality. 

A strong advocate for sustainable design, she applies New Urbanism principles and internationally recognised Project Management Institute methodologies to create resilient, functional, and enduring spaces. 

Abigail currently serves on the Barbados Planning and Development Board and previously served on the Barbados Architects Registration Board.
