AIA Continental Europe - Porto Spring 2022 Conference

When: Thursday 21 April 2022 @ 13:00 (Eastern US time)/ 18:00 (Porto time)

Description

The theme of “transition” will be developed via presentations and visits to various buildings and urban developments throughout Porto. We will look at how Porto has evolved in a historical, economic, cultural, and touristic context since our previous Porto conference in 2004. We will learn about various initiatives to foster sustainable growth while preserving the rich historical context that earned the city its classification as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will engage with local professionals, government officials, and students to understand the complexities and solutions that are contributing to Porto’s success as a thriving historical city.

The conference begins at 18:00 Thursday, April 21st, and ends roughly around 15:00 Sunday, April 24th. The Monday extension starts at 8:00 and ends at 19:30 (departure from and return to center of Porto).
