Jean-Paul Hautekeer; Global Strategic Market Director, High-Performance Building, Dow Performance Silicones.

Jean-Paul has more than 25 years with Dow, and currently serves as global strategic market director for High-Performance Building based at Dow Europe Headquarters in Horgen, Zurich, Switzerland.

As the global head of marketing strategy for the teams that develop silicon(e) based solutions which increase energy efficiency, sustainability and design performance of buildings, his responsibilities include market strategy development and implementation, innovation and marketing excellence for the global market. Based on five decades of innovation leadership, Dow continues to invest in developing silicone based solutions that can create innovative, durable, sustainable and functional high performance building systems.

Jean-Paul has held a number of leadership positions in his career including technical manager, commercial director and global marketing director of High-Performance Building and Solar, amongst others. His work and influence have extended far beyond Europe, having spent a significant part of his career in global roles, including one based in Asia. He is recognized for leading the transformation of Dow Corning’s construction business from a more commoditized position, to a value-added and growing business, specifically in Structural Glazing and Commercial Glass markets. Jean-Paul has a strong reputation for being strategically agile and for his ability to inspire, simplify and rally teams behind a common goal and defined direction.

Jean-Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Liège, Belgium and a qualification on Marketing Industrial Products from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Berkshire, UK.

Sammy Hui, Senior Business Development Leader, Dow

Sammy Hui is the Senior Business Development Leader for Dow Consumer Solutions, based at Dow Chemical Pacific office in Hong Kong leads business development in the field of high performance building solutions.  He connects Dow Performance Silicones global resources to provide the highest performance sealing solutions and innovation to support the projects with design community including developers, architects, engineers, specialist contractors, systems manufacturers, research centers and certification bodies.

With over 25 years professional experience in building industry, Sammy joined Dow Corning in 1995, being serviced in different commercial  functions include Sales, Marketing, Marketing Communications and Innovation  specialized in façade glazing industry worked on numerous prestigious landmark construction projects across Asia and the Globe. With his strong industry network and experience that he also works with our global project specification team closely to lead the specification activities for Asia Pacific region. In parallel he has participated number of collaborative R&D projects, consistently pushing the boundaries in the field of high performance applications innovation.

Sammy Hui is a thought leader and ambassador in the area of high-performance sustainable design in architecture. Having held various positions to support the industry professional societies as current Vice President of Hong Kong Façade Association since 2015, Committee Member of USGBC Platinum - a consortium for LEED Professionals in Hong Kong. Active lead by playing key roles for AIA IR – American Institute of Architects International Region as founding sponsor and consultant with unique insights into high performance façade solutions as well as proactive support façade engineering professional community development that perceived by the local and global Construction Industry. 

Sammy was the single individual winner of the remarkable Sustainability Leadership Award at Greenbuild China 2019 by US Green Building Council. In the same year he also received only person for Dow 2025 Sustainability Award – Asia Pacific 2019 Engaging for Impact.

Dr. Christine Bruckner, FAIA, HKIA, R.A., LEED® AP, BEAM PRO, BREEAM AP, Well AP Faculty, Reset Fellow. Past President, AIA International Region; Director, M Moser Associates

Christine is an architect actively supporting best practice, sustainability, and wellness in design. As a Director at M Moser Associates, she brings her experience with urban integration, revitalization, and design excellence to guide the development of our built environment at all scales. Her focus is working with client and community stakeholders to encourage deep dive investigation, coordination and sustainable best practice. As a LEED AP and BEAM professional, Christine is also an early adapter of the International WELL Building Standard and leads M Moser’s global WELL integrative design solution initiatives.
