AIA Latin America - Affordable Housing and Modular Construction in Chile

Event Description

The government program of Chilean President Gabriel Boric proposes the construction of 260,000 social housing units in 4 years, aiming to double the country's housing production. To achieve this, there's innovation in construction, particularly in industrialized social housing construction. This approach reduces environmental impact, cuts construction times in half, and controls costs through early design collaboration between architects and industrializing companies, optimizing materials for Chile's social housing programs.
