Description
The second Webinar in AIA Hong Kong Emerging Technology series will focus on Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) for architecture and design teams.
Fernando Rial Ponce will demonstrate how combining Twinmotion with Autodesk Workshop XR enables real-time, immersive design reviews that transcend screens and static presentations. He will show how to create engaging virtual environments that allow distributed teams and stakeholders to walk through projects, discuss changes spatially, and provide input live within the design context. He will also cover best practices for Workshop XR integration in design workflows, discuss hardware and collaboration protocols, and share insights from real-world implementations, including strategies to boost client involvement and decision-making speed.
Chris Quinlan will share how to augment architectural workflows using AI coding agents to build small plugins and scripts that remove everyday friction in existing toolchains. A key example is QuickCapture, a one-click workflow that exports the geometry passes AI image tools need, to illustrate the method behind creating reliable, production-ready automation.
