Yew Kee Cheong FAIA, MSIA is a Singaporean architect with more than 25 years of professional experience as an architect and educator, with passion in sustainable design and wellness design. He is the 2024-2025 President of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) International and the 2024 President of AIA Southeast Asia. He served as its 2020-2021 Treasurer and 2017-2018 Director for Unassigned Members.

Yew Kee was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2023 (Class of 2023). He received his Master of Science in Sustainable Design from the University of Nottingham, UK and Master of Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin, USA. He worked in reputable firms in USA, Mexico and Singapore with projects over eight countries. Yew Kee is Founding Principal of 2B ARCHITECTS, an award-winning boutique firm in Singapore. He is a licensed architect both in Singapore and in Texas.

Yew Kee was instrumental in leading a team of Country Representatives from Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam to form the AIA Southeast Asia section in 2023. In his first term as AIA International Director, Yew Kee successfully organized the AIA International Region Conference 2018 in Singapore. In Singapore, Yew Kee is a Council Member of the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) from 2008-2023, and the Founding Chair for SIA Sustainability Committee and Chairs for SIA Wellness Committee and SIA Design Competition Committee. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Yew Kee is active in bridging professional and community works. He serves on institutes council, sits on advisory committee of statutory boards, mentor students in university, speaks in public forum and acts as juror for institutes awards. He loves the arts and used to docent in local museums on the weekend. In 2013, Yew Kee received the Singapore Ministry of National Development Medallion for Distinguished Service.
