Description

In this presentation, Ken Yeang discusses the different types of leadership styles and approaches in architectural practice at different stages from design to delivery. The approach is referred by some as ‘Situational Leadership”, where the leader has no preconceived approach, but adopts the appropriate leadership approach from a set of options, related to the situation at hand. For example, whether the approach may be ‘to push’, meaning assertive action, or ‘to pull’, meaning collaborative assistance, or a ‘hybrid’.
