Architect, First Lady of Costa Rica
More than 14 years of experience in design, project management and urban planning. I dedicated my professional career to develop large-scale projects around the world, always promoting criteria of sustainability and resilience. This new vision of design and urbanism - with the quality of life of people as a transversal axis - contemplates a great variety of areas.
As First Lady of Costa Rica, I focus my work in three main areas: housing, mobility and urban planning. I articulate processes oriented to improve people’s quality life in the cities. Within this context, I focus my work on three main axes, based on my experience and training as an architect: Urban Mobility, Housing and human settlements, Territorial organization urban planning and local governments.
