For requirements in place at Expo 2020, please see HERE.

Q: Do I need to take a PCR test to enter Dubai?

A: Yes, all passengers travelling to Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.

You may need to take another COVID-19 PCR test on arrival. If you are asked to take a test at the airport, you must remain in your hotel until you receive the test result.

Q: What will the weather be like?

A: In mid-November, the typical average temperature is 74˚F/ 23˚C. The highs can reach 89˚F/ 32˚C and expected lows of 60˚F/ 16˚C so please plan your wardrobe accordingly.

Q: What is the dress code in the UAE?

A: The UAE is generally a conservative country; however, Dubai is an extremely liberal and cosmopolitan city. The general rule regarding dressing in public in Dubai is to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and your knees. It's best to refrain from wearing clothing that is too tight or too revealing for both men and women.

Most restaurants have a “casually elegant” dress code, so you may want to consider this when you plan your evening attire.

The Gala Dinner on day one is a formal evening event.

If you are choosing the optional tour in Abu Dhabi, there are additional guidelines for Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. These can be found at this link: Mosque Dress Code.

Q: What is the best way to get around Dubai?

A: There are many options to get around the city. Taxis are abundant and relatively inexpensive. These can be hailed from the street or you can call 800 88088. Another option is to download the Dubai Taxi Corporation mobile app, while Uber and Careem are rideshare programs you can also use. The Dubai Metro also provides great connectivity throughout the city.
