The announcement of the 2026 AIA College of Fellows class is a moment of great pride for the profession and especially meaningful for AIA International. Fellowship is among the Institute’s highest honors, recognizing architects whose work has made significant contributions to architecture and to society through excellence, leadership, and lasting impact.

On behalf of AIA International, we extend warm congratulations to the newly elevated Fellows and to all those recognized this year. We are especially proud to recognize Bea Sennewald, FAIA, elevated from AIA UK, whose distinction carries special meaning for our global community. Their achievements reflect the very best of the profession and its capacity to shape communities, elevate the built environment, and serve the public good. We also extend our congratulations to this year’s Honorary Fellows, whose recognition reflects the global reach of architectural excellence and the important contributions of international practitioners to the profession and to society.

We look forward to celebrating the 2026 honorees and welcoming the new Fellows into the College of Fellows community at AIA26 in San Diego
