We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 AIA International Design Awards are now open for submissions!
Deadline: Friday 14 August 2026 at 5pm (Eastern US time).
Eligibility is open - All AIA International members, including those who belong to local chapters, are eligible to submit in all categories. We also welcome applications from AIA members in the US, as well as those who were not members previously. Projects may be located anywhere outside the US and its territories.
As always, AIA International is excited to see the sheer range and global scope of projects submitted by AIA members and friends across the world. We invite you all to share your outstanding work.
We have the opportunity to celebrate the winners not once but twice - during our 2026 AIA International Conference in Cairo on November 14, 2026, and at the AIA Conference on Architecture next year, AIA27 in Philadelphia on May 19–22, 2027.
We look forward to recognizing eligible Award winners further with the Sustainable Future Award which was developed with Dow, and the Inclusive Design Excellence Award; we therefore encourage you to give yourself the best chance of success by sharing how your project incorporates these important design initiatives.
