AIA International is proud to launch the inaugural AIA International Emerging Architect Award, an annual recognition program established to celebrate emerging architectural professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to the profession.
The award recognizes AIA International members who are shaping the future of architectural practice through design excellence, professional engagement, community service, and leadership within the global architectural community.
The program is open to architecture school graduates within their first 10 years of professional experience. Applicants DO NOT have to be a licensed architect, allowing the award to recognize a broad range of emerging professionals contributing to the profession in diverse international contexts.
Applicants will be asked to submit reference letters and a portfolio of exhibits demonstrating their leadership, design contributions, public service, and professional impact. Submissions should clearly communicate how the applicant has advanced the profession and contributed to the mission and values of AIA International.

The recipient will be selected by a jury of AIA leaders representing the international Chapters and will receive formal recognition and a certificate from AIA International.
The AIA International Emerging Architect Award reflects AIA International’s commitment to supporting emerging professionals, strengthening leadership pathways, and recognizing architectural excellence across borders.
