Description

Acoustics play an important role in shaping spaces that support our wellbeing. More than just controlling noise, acoustic involves creating auditory environments that promote comfort, mental clarity, and emotional balance. Poor acoustics can lead to stress and reduced focus, while thoughtful acoustic design enhances relaxation, social connection, and overall health. Join Pascal as he explores how integrating acoustic expertise into interior design can transform everyday spaces into sensory sanctuaries that truly support the people who use them.

The session covers principles of sound and psychoacoustics, regulatory frameworks such as Green Mark 2021, the health impacts of poor acoustic conditions, and practical strategies for optimizing soundscapes across various interior settings. Through real-world case studies and design examples, participants will discover how prioritizing acoustics leads to healthier, more comfortable spaces that nurture people's senses and overall wellbeing.
