As 2025 comes to a close, AIA Latin America continues strengthening its presence across the region through meaningful participation in events that advance dialogue, innovation, and collaboration in the built environment. This December, we highlight two important engagements in Mexico City that underscored our mission to promote sustainable design, professional exchange, and regional unity within the architectural community.

EXPO CIHAC 2025 - Mexico City, 15-17th November 2025

The participation of the American Institute of Architects Latin America (AIA LATAM) in the 35th Anniversary of Expo CIHAC in Mexico City marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration between architects, developers, and industry leaders across the region. As one of the most influential architectural and construction events in Latin America, Expo CIHAC provided an ideal platform for AIA LA to share its mission of promoting sustainable design, innovation, and professional excellence.

During the event, AIA LA representatives engaged in conferences, panel discussions, and networking sessions that highlighted the importance of resilient urban development, energy efficiency, and social responsibility in contemporary architecture. The participation also strengthened the connection between AIA members from different Latin American countries, encouraging dialogue on shared challenges and regional opportunities.

By taking part in this landmark edition of Expo CIHAC, AIA LA reaffirmed its commitment to advancing architecture that positively transforms cities and communities. The organization’s presence contributed to positioning design as a key driver of sustainability, cultural identity, and economic growth in the built environment of Mexico and beyond.

Imei-Boma 2025, Mexico City, 7 November 2025

Architect Jorge Arditti had the honor of participating in the IMEI–BOMA 2025 Congress in Mexico City, representing AIA Latin America. The event featured a series of forums focused on sustainability and the challenges that lie ahead, offering valuable perspectives on how the building sector can continue to evolve responsibly and efficiently.

AIA Latin America’s participation in these key industry events reinforces our dedication to promoting meaningful conversations and actions that shape the future of architecture throughout the region.

As we move forward, we remain committed to supporting our members, expanding collaborative networks, and championing design that elevates the quality, resilience, and cultural richness of our communities.
